Reflections on the Election and a Commitment to Service
The results are still coming in, but it’s clear that the outcome of this election is not what we hoped for.
We got into this race with clarity that voters were looking for something different than what’s on offer in American politics today. A focus on issues — not identity. A passion for country — not party. A commitment to service over politics.
My involvement in politics endures, and this only deepens my commitment to service. The campaign crystallized my conviction that the American Dream is worth fighting for. We have so much work left to do until it’s real for every single family in Orange County.
